In the Yerba Buena Gardens, this is the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial - water cascading over a tunnel filled with inspirational quotes and photos. A nice thing to see from the hotel window and a nice thing to see up close, it's a nice patch of green in San Francisco.

Over the weekend (well, Saturday - Tuesday) I went to San Francisco for some vacation. It was really nice, thanks.

I think that means that this week will have some San Francisco pictures!
This horse was part of a set of three built the same way, from pieces of wood. They were really amazing, and helped fill this quiet square just off a busy street with an unusual elegance and calm.

In Belltown

An apartment building with a neon sign? Awesome, especially as it's right next to a nice little pub with more neon and good burgers.

I like the space needle. I have never ridden on the Monorail yet - it's on the list "to do".
